 These three kittens were found in a cardboard box among hard rubbish. They are now in the care of Animal Aid shelter. TOSSING a trio of helpless kittens out with a hard rubbish collection is callous and cruel. But what some may discard as trash, others will surely treasure. The only thing that saved these pussies from certain death was their plaintive meowing, Animal Aid marketing manager Debra Boland said. "They had been placed in an empty box and would have ended up in a tip unseen, but for the fact that someone walking past happened to hear them." The lone little female and her two brothers were too young to have been separated from their mother and they have been recovering in foster care. Now six weeks old, the kittens will be ready for new homes in time for Christmas. |
