Veterinary Nurse - Level 2

Animal Aid Vet Clinic, Coldstream
A rare opportunity exists for a Level 2 Veterinary Nurse to join the Animal Aid Vet Clinic team, with an immediate start. Minimum 1 - 2 years experience is required for this position.

The Animal Aid Veterinary Clinic is located in the Yarra Valley in the middle of the winery region and only 50 minutes from the CBD. We are committed to providing excellent patient care to both our private and shelter patients, as well as striving to achieve best practice standards in Animal Welfare. We are a friendly and motivated team with a large surgical caseload and a strong work ethic. The Clinic is well equipped with RxWorks and plenty of up to date equipment.

• Caring for, handling and cleaning all animals
• Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice
• Undertaking all general nursing tasks, including surgery duties, pre and post operative care, pathology and stock control.
• Delivering outstanding client care to all patients and owners
• Reception duties

Groomer - Animal Aid Grooming Salon

A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced groomer to join the Animal Aid Grooming Salon with an immediate start. A minimum of 2 years practical experience would be advantageous.
This will be a permanent part term position with the view to full time in the future.

Animal Aid is a progressive not for profit animal welfare organisation located in the Yarra Valley, Victoria.

The Grooming Salon works in conjunction with our Veterinary Clinic and we are committed to providing excellent care to both our private and shelter pets as well as striving to achieve best practice standards in animal welfare

We are a friendly and highly motivated grooming team with a large and regular private client base. We have an excellent reputation based on our strong work ethic, professionalism and a passion for animal welfare.

Primary responsibilities

• Undertaking all general grooming duties including clipping, washing and drying
• Deliver outstanding client care
• Ensure that gentle, modern methods of animal handling and training are used at all times
